Latest news: *Volcano Eruption on Iceland*

Per SAS airlines website, "Following an ash cloud from an Icelandic volcano eruption, air authorities have introduced restrictions to Northern European airspace." All Inter-European flights in Scandinavia have been canceled until further notice. Please be advised The Fabulous Thunderbird's have made the necessary changes in travel arrangements to insure arrival for the upcoming shows in Norway. Currently the band is traveling by bus after taking ferries in Denmark to Norway. July 2009: Eric Clapton recently invited Kim Wilson to join him in the studio to record several tracks for Clapton's upcoming CD. Recording was completed in September in Los Angeles.

Early 2009:  Steve Jordon, long-time friend of Kim Wilson and occasional producer, called on Kim to put together the band for the new movie Cadillac Records, starring Beyonce Knowles and Adrien Brody. All the harmonica parts in the movie are played by Kim Wilson and he also plays a little guitar! Who knew! See the Movie Trailer.
